sixteen

blake and i were looking for parttime work. he found work in george's chicken shop which is up the road from my house. he said i could come work for a day and see if i like it, so maybe i could get a job there as well. he worked behind the counter making sandwiches, and i didnt have to do anything i just watched blake and talked to him the whole time. i did have a small job though, i had to give stephanie yong the dvd she ordered when it arrived. [yes i know it's weird, a chicken shop that makes sandwiches and orders in dvds for people] anyway steph yong came in and took a seat and i went to get her video. it was called "brittney" and it was a documentary about a girl's volleyball team. i actually had no idea what to do, the boss lady just handed me the dvd to give to steph so i did. she was telling me it was a really good movie and i should watch it.
at the end of the shift we left, blake told me about his "really good" pay, which was $21 per hour.
